Jak is a community development and evaluation specialist who works at the intersection of evidence, culture, and practical outcomes. With a professional background spanning community-led program design, monitoring and evaluation, and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander legal advocacy, he brings a grounded, systems-aware approach to supporting people and organisations to do what they say they’ll do, and do it well.

Outside the formal titles, Jak is known for showing up with respect, curiosity, and follow-through. He values relationships over rush, clear communication over noise, and work that strengthens community control and future generations. He’s also creative at heart (and behind the camera), often using storytelling and photography to capture the moments that matter and the realities that data alone can’t hold.
